Does my product need TIS certification?
It depends on the product type and its characteristics. Products under a mandatory standard must be licensed before they are manufactured or imported for sale, while some products fall under other agencies or licenses instead of, or in addition to, TIS. Send us the product name and details and we’ll check for you.
I don’t know which standard applies. Can you check for me?
Yes — that’s where most clients start. You don’t need to know standard numbers or technical terms. Just tell us what the product is, how it’s used, and share any specs or photos. We’ll summarize which requirements apply.
What documents do I need?
For the initial check, just the product name, photos and any specs or datasheet you have. For a license application, documents vary by product type and the applicant’s role (manufacturer or importer). We’ll send you the exact list after the check.
How long does it take?
It depends on the product type, the testing required and how ready your documents are. The initial requirement check takes 1–2 days. After that, we’ll give you a timeline for the next steps before any work begins.
Can you check multiple SKUs at once?
Yes. Send your product list as an Excel or CSV file. We’ll identify which standards or licenses each SKU needs, group products that share requirements, and prioritize what to do first.
Can you coordinate with the relevant authorities?
Yes. We coordinate testing, document submission and follow-up with the relevant authorities, and keep you updated on progress.
Can I check before ordering production?
Yes, and we recommend it. Knowing the requirements at the design stage or before ordering lets you get specs, materials and labels right from the start, reducing the risk of costly changes later.
